No rehearsalsIf you score a woman’s phone number, don’t overthink your lines before phoning. “Guys need to make themselves vulnerable, and calling is a good way to do that,”she says. “It’s scary to make contact.” But think of it this way: she’s nervous during the call, and she knows you are, too. If you’re too smooth, you’ll sound like she has no effect on you–and she wants to affect you.
No solos“If a man goes up to a woman by himself, she expects things to become awkward,” Decker says. “Eventually he’ll run out of things to talk about, or try too hard to hit on her.”So bring a friend or two, and approach a woman only when she’s in a group of similar size.
